Richard Egarr Artist in Residence at Flanders Festival

Apart from his many other activities in September, Richard Egarr will be one of the Artists in Residence of this year's edition of the Flanders Festival. He will be directing B'Rock and perform in recital with Soprano Claron McFadden.

B'Rock is a new orchestra founded by musicians from a modern symphony background as well as early music specialists. For their first appearance they have chosed Richard Egarr, who has worked with 'modern' as well as specialised ensembles, to direct two different programmes. The concerts will be performed in Brussels and Ghent, and are coproduced with the Belgium Radio Klara.
