Fretwork: New Wine in Old Bottles

Fretwork

Back to headings

One of Fretwork's trademarks since its early beginnings is mixing early music for viols with contemporary music written for the 'period' instrument ensemble - in other words, new wine in old bottles. This title perfectly covers the programme that England's finest viol consort, together with Soprano Emma Wilkinson, will present in the NDR series 'Das Alte Werk', this December.
