The 2009 Edison Award in the category 'Concertos' has been awarded to the recording of Handel's Organ Concertos Opus 4 played by Richard Egarr and the Academy of Ancient Music. According to the jury, "There is a beautiful balance between organ and the ensemble. Egarr's playing is fresh and brisk, on a technically superb level and well thought out but always playful. [...] Thanks to the surprising elements such as the baroque guitar and the lute in the concertos no. 5 and 6, this recording captivates the listener from start to finish."

The CD has also been shortlisted for the Gramophone Award.
