Rachel Podger's performances in Germany

Back to headings

Rachel Podger will appear twice in Germany this month, first in a solo performance at the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci and, with her own baroque ensemble Brecon Baroque, at the Barockfestspiele Arolsen.

In Potsdam, Rachel will be playing some of the best music ever written, or at least: for solo violin, including Bach's Second Partita with its breathtaking Chaconne. In Arolsen, she will be joined by Brecon Baroque, the ensemble founded by Podger in Wales, in the final concert of the Arolsen Festival, featuring music by Bach, Telemann and Purcell.
